Camp Edwards
A change of scenery. A shift in perspective.

Where Students Learn
To Lead And Listen
Starting in 5th grade, students get to experience the much anticipated Camp Edwards: our annual two-day retreat at the YMCA campgrounds in East Troy. The retreat blends outdoor adventure, teamwork, and Judaic reflection.
Away from screens and routine, students step into an environment that challenges them to communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve — often under pressure and with peers who think and work differently. Through ropes courses, hiking, and group challenges, they learn to balance leadership with listening, independence with interdependence.
Around the campfire, Judaic learning brings it full circle by connecting physical strength with spiritual depth. Students return not only with confidence and self-sufficiency, but with one of life’s most valuable skills: the ability to work together with purpose, humility, and heart.

Time in nature
reduces stress and improves focus.

Students discover leadership in action,
not just in theory.
